Flashback Friday: Gig Champs

A huge perk of living on the Scillies is being able to attend the World Pilot Gig Championships, held here annually over the first May bank holiday. This year I spent it with two of my fave peeps, and the three of us affectionately deemed ourselves 'Team A' (took a while to realise my buddy Laura actually meant to say A Team...)

We spent the weekend watching the gig racing and downing pretty much anything which came within our reach. The weather was pretty decent and a definite highlight was watching the podium ceremony on Sunday afternoon, raving along to some tunes and preparing ourselves for yet more carnage that evening.
